Rich buttercake. . After years of use of this bundt pan, I can no longer get clean lines 😠upset ah. Don’t even feel like posting this picture also. . I think the coating worn off. Tamagoyaki failed 😂. . Been craving for Tamagoyaki for few days already. . I use 2 eggs only. Single serving 😅 . I have not been using this pan for years so it stuck like crazy just now. When I slices the layers not prominent. . Taste wise, I like sweet version. This one, not as sweet as I like it to be. Still ok thought. Tomorrow can try again ah. Beef Bulgogi to go with pickles I made earlier. Recipe at the bottom. . No sure If this is as authentic as I can be but this taste yummy. . Had this is Japanese Short Grain Rice. . Here’s my version or Beef Bulgogi * 200g sliced beef. About a handful * 1 or 2 Tbsp Dark soy sauce * 3 or 4 Tbsp brown sugar * 1 onion + 1 garlic + 1 small slice ginger grated * Thinly sliced onions * Thinly sliced green onions * Coarse black pepper * Pinch of salt. * A dash of sesame oil * 1 Tbsp oil * 1/2 Tbsp oyster sauce * A pinch of red pepper powder (optional) Note : The recipes online calls for pureed pear. I read that it’s for tenderising the meat. I dont’t have pear and I used thin sliced beef so I omitted that. . Mix all and marinate at least 30mins . Head up wok, stirfry. Pickles all for myself. . Do you love pickles? I love cucumber and carrot pickles especially. Prepare this version the same way you prepare your green chilli pickles and it’s easy peasy. . Just looking at this is already drool worthy but try this with beef bulgogi later. Yum :-) . I don’t have exact measurement but what’s inside Vinegar - I used Heinz Vinegar Sugar Salt - I used sea salt 2 cloves garlic - smashed 2 shallots - halves 3 Japanese cucumber - sliced 1 carrot I usually heat up the vinegar slightly so the sugar and salt dissolve easily and then add in garlic and onion.
