ok... Luge was fun... skyride big NO. Oh ya... Luge + skyride 1 way $9

NOTE : Oh ya forgot to mention. If you book a room, hotel will give you 3 days Sentosa pass. So u can go in and out without extra cost.



Off to cable car.. ex $11+ for 2 way ride.
Again boys always be boys... WS knowing how afraid we girls are, started rock the car, keep turning here and there, despite us girls screaming at him.

One of em even relate story bout the cable car accident years back. Bluekkk... so insensitive.

ANybody know that far end is wat island? The boys were arguing bout it.


We still undecided where to eat for cc birthday. In the end we decided Fig and Olive


We each ordered diff things and have a taste of each other's food.

WS ordered - BBQ black pepper chick
Sedap... but small portion. WS Still hungry after that. (this meal cost the least. Its bout $10 plus)

After makan, YY left for school. We went back to Cable car for our ride back to Sentosa. Plan is to watch Song of the Sea but then it started to rain. and Heavy.

Quite scary cos from way up there, we can see lightning amidst the stormy looking skies. If only i'm not up high, i would snap alot gloomy pix. CC like the ride back tho.

With no where to go in the rain, we decided to head back to hotel. But before that.. must tapao supper.

By the way i think those ppl on company team building program.

Ok back to hotel, we collected the key for Girls room... Yeaaahh.... now got own room. No need to use boys toilet.

See the tall frame by the wall? That's not a mirror nor a picture frame. That's actually window by the bathtub. So if taking long relaxing soak, u can wind up the screen and enjoy the see view from bathroom.

Of cos me paranoid as always, stole a few pieces of YY handiplast and paste it at strategic locations just to make sure the screen plastered to the wall and not moving from position. hahha


After maghrib prayers we played a few game of UNO and left for Beach Station again to fetch YY. Still raining but not that heavy. So we decided to drop by Cafe Del Mar for drinks.

(all of us bit dissapointed cos we didn't get to watch Song of the Sea due to the rain)

No pic of Cafe Del Mar as didn't bring camera.. I only took few shots with HP camera will upload tomorrow.

then CC taught us how to play poker. (all in the name of fun)

From the game i learn that you don't need good card to win. Just need to maintain 'poker' face and try to bluff your oponents. That's the highlight of the night hehehe

Use peanuts as the chips. Each started with 20 peanuts.

In the end the big winner for the night is YY. She won during show hand round. (see i can even use poker terms now hahaha )

We slept bout 3 am. (difficulty sleeping.... i missed my husband uwaaaaa )

Next day after breakfast we stroll down the beach.
(i should consider getting new camera)

Hotel nice... but it's scary at night. Cos when u open your hotel room door, you'll be facing pool area and when pool lights off, it's pitch black.

to make things worse, shen we left the hotel bout 10pm to fetch yy from beach station, those boys tease me by sayings things like "EH what's that white thing flying??" DUHHH DUHH DUHHH ....

I wish i had my Pyogo with me... then can thunder them.



checked out at 11:30am.. Stop by Vivo for lunch and share cab home with JL and WS

Where : Sentosa
Date : 24th to 25th 08 (Mon, Tue)

In the end the whole thing did not follow the itinerary.

Supposed to meet at 11am. Only Wah Seng, Jalal and Yvonne made in on time.
I got stuck in traffic and Choon Ching late as he need to see doctor for his sore throat ????

While waiting for late comers, the early birds went to buy tidbits at Giant.
We then had lunch at Chicken rice shop at Vivo. Not bad at all.


We took Sentosa Express. As we have made reservations at hotel, we need not pay for the entrance.



(See WS so excited. New sandals and bermudas heeheh )

To get to hotel from Beach Station. You need to take the blue train and stop at Cafe Del Mar. Its actually not that far from Beach Station but i'm too lazy to walk so convinced them to take tram hahahaha . The weather so far so good.. sunny, hot and humid. (not my kinda weather actually)



First glance of the Resort. By the way this is the back entrance. It's just infront of Cafe Del Mar. This is also where we had our breakfast. Back entrance is on Ground Floor. As the hotel is right by a slope, the reception area is on the 7th Floor.


I've to admit, first impression not that good as we have to walk a few turns from back door to lift and then need to take lift up 7th floor. But once out lift we were plesantly surprise by the beautiful landscape.

Man-made waterwall. You can stand below it and slide down the slide into the pool.

The Reception is very small glass cube quite far from rooms. To get there, you'll have to walk mini bridge, surrounded by trees. It's very pretty but i was busy imagining how the place will look like at night so i didn't soak up the view.

See the bridge to reception? It's not covered by the way. So they leave couple umbrellas at end of each side of the planks for use.

Official check in is at 3pm. But the girl is kind to allow us to check in 1 room first while they readied the adjoining room for us. We requested for higher floor with nice view. So the boys got their room first. Room 725

The room is modern and clean. Room ammenities inc flat screen TV, bathtub, separate shower cubicle, minifridge, minisafe, hairdryer, cofee and tea maker, toiletries,

The rest of the room. CC getting comfortable. WS still thinking of work. Keep checking wat "CABLE" channel they have there. Duh... !!

We dumped our bags the rest relax a bit while waiting for Jalal and me to finish our prayers.

The plan is Luge + Skyride -> Vivo -> CC Birthday meal -> YY go school -> Watch Movie or Song of the Sea while waiting for YY -> back to hotel shower -> fetch yy from beach station -> Cafe Del Mar.

But first... we need to look for that KOI farm JL so very much wanted to see. We even bought 1 box of Koi food. So we took Sentosa Express and went to Imbiah Station. We asked around and seems like no staff there no of the existance of the Koi pond.We were told that the only area with fishes is the Underwater World so off we go to check out.

JL saw in the map something bout fish reflexology. hmmm how fishy... (turns out it's spa centre where they ask u soak your feet in this pool and the fish will eat away your dead skin.. then followed by body massage) How dissapointed

Sad... no Koi in sight. Only saw Cobra, Turtle, Stingray and small fishes.

We hopped the next bus back to Cable Car station. And paid for our Luge Ride
Luge is fun. WHat is not is the SKY RIDE. Scary factor is 8. The next scary thing for me will be stuff like reverse bungy all that. I kid you not... i was making alot noise and say keep telling yy not to move or make noise cos i'm so worried the slightest movement might bring the whole thing down hahahahaha .

Another embarrasing thing, i took the ride with just YY, so i was sitting at one end and Yvonne another end. The boys were behind us and they were laughing as our car was tilting to 1 side (i'm heavy mah). But it was only much later then i realise what they were laughing at.. duhh

pss : someone commented why most of the pix no human inside.. ok ok... will post more human photo next. But there's just 5 of us that day.. Isn't it boring to see the same ppl again and again??

hehe..dunno what I'm so happy abt? haha..this is card my friends got Danson Tang(唐禹哲) to sign for me..and from what I know, I'm the only one who got his encouragement..( :P ) the others just got thanx from him.. (But his handwriting...really untidy!!)

So besides getting to speak to him over the phone.. this is my gift from him..hahaaaaaaahah..

11.00am HarbourFront Meet up timing (let's all be punctual.... please.. we are press for time. so we meet at 11am then straight away can go makan)

12pm VivoCity/HarbourFront/Seah Imm Lunch @ either of the locations

(Vivo City Banquet. Halal and cheap or Long john silver ?? want or not? ) (pls remind me buy Koi Food at Vivo City)

1pm - 2.45pm Sentosa Depart for Sentosa (Depart for Sentosa via the Sentosa Express )

Upon arriving, can tour around the place/ take photos or walk to Siloso beach and hang around there.

3pm Siloso Beach Resort Check in timing. Unpack your barang barang. Tour Sentosa & visit the following places

- Feed Koi fish at Koi Farm. (remind me to buy Koi food at Vivo City)

- Sentosa Luge & Skyride (postponed to next day)

- other place of interest that is FOC, lols

4 :00pm VivoCity Take bus or walk back to Vivocity for Dinner. We celebrating Choon Ching's birthday by treating him

(we go early dinner as yvonne need to leave for Exam at 5:30pm)

for makan. Any suggestions to what we eat? (lets try Earles by Swensen, Got Salad bar or can try Fig and Olive or Garuda indonesian food

or Secret recipe all Halal hahah . (let Choon Ching decide)

5:30pm Yvonne leave for exam. We can go Vivo Supermarket buy titbits for us to munch inside hotel.

7or 8pm Vivocity/ Sentosa Return back to Sentosa or we can go back earlier so can watch sunset at beach

8pm - catch Sound of the sea show

9 pm back to hotel Shower etc etc ...

10pm - Proceed back to Beach station Coffee Bean and wait for Yvonne to come

Visit the Café del Mar and lugger there till late nite

(they got food for us to much much also - fries etc)

1 am - ba ck to hotel and zzzzzzzzzz if not tired can play Uno

Buy back pizza from Vivo city and hang at the beach or hotel at night muching Pizza or playing UNO in the room (if i not lazy to bring)

8am Siloso Beach Resort Wake up for breakfast, pack up barang barang

- Sentosa Luge & Skyride (yvonne scared so she will take our pictures)

- Last tour ard the island/take picture and prepare for book out

Settle all expenses at the resort with the cashier F3

(can take the open top bus round island)

- anybody interested going underwater world?? never go in before

3 pm or earlier Vivocity (lunch - banquet)
