Nuh trip
Hubby was moaning in pain so brought him to nuh. And i know nuh is definitely not relocating or close just like dahlia and phoon huat. My last trip there was mid year when i was sent due to nose bleed which the doctor at woodlands fail to make it stop. Not much changes in term of staff service there but the place is undergoing renovation from Nov 08 till Aug 09. Since it's Mon, place is full with future mc holders and waiting time is 1 to 2.5 hrs.
another fav place relocate / close down
Ish ish ish today totally not productive day.
Hubby requested for Tiramisu and chocolate cake for his office potluck party. So the nearest cake supply store from Woodlands is Phoon Huat Sembawang.
Again... i'm such an idiot for not checking first is the place still open or not. The space is now occupied by StarHub and apparantly for quite sometime. (that's how long i've not been to Sembawang)
Hiaz.... tomorrow must after work must go Phoon Huat Jurong...
for now i'm just happy staring at this
ps : It's 1:57am and i'm so unable to sleep.

Dahlia oh Dahlia... where are you.. ?
Oh Dahlia..
You are very important in my mind. Why else would I spare 10mins of my time posting this when i should be getting ready to go out and risking my husband wrath. (husband been hinting that we are gonna be late)
Dahlia Cafe is one of the must go place for lunch if i'm around the vicinity of Arab Street.
Between Pariaman, HJ Maimunah and Dahlia, I choose Dahlia anytime.
Apart from the reasonable prices, there's many yummy dishes to choose from and not so oily as some places. The ambience is cosy and it's you will feel that you can eat in peace.
In addition food at Dahlia taste like Home cook food. I brought my mom there once and she in turn brought my dad and they both like it too.
I can still remember the fish head assam fish, black pepper beef, fried 'lemping' and at same time trying to stop salivating while typing this...
The last time we went to Dahlia was couple of mths back i think.. so imagine our disappointment to find a new cafe there instead ... ?&^&$
What??
Where ???
Where is Dahlia?
But in reality, even if the food nice... there should be buyers as well right? In my opinion, part of the reason why we can eat in peace also partly due to there's not many customers and given the sudden popularity of Arab Street, i bet landlord must have jack up the rent there. Furthermore just look around and you can see that more that 50% of the people visiting that area are yongsters... Siapa la nak makan nasi padang .
I hope they relocate somewhere and not close forever.
Do you know where is Dahlia now?
