Homemade prata. Previously tried the recipe that use condensed milk and sugar and we don’t like it. . This time, I tried traditional recipe of just flour, warm water salt and oil. . I only rested it for 1h so the dough break easily when pull so I need to be extra gentle. . Only cook 3 tonight and will leave the balance for overnight resting. . This prata puff slightly and is quite nice. Will try again: . Recipe 2 cups plain flour 1/2 to 3/4 cup warm water 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon of oil Mixed all above and knead about 5mins. Divide into 6 balls. Coat it with more oil and rest it overnight or at least 8hrs. Flatten on back of big round tray and slowly pull it to extend the dough to one big thin piece. .
