Recommend a book..

Just happen to glance through this on the website.. an interesting way of introducing the story to the readers as we're seeing the story of the Swift family through the eyes of their family dog..

The cover page:

A small introduction:

I like this belief: when a dog is finished living his lifetimes as a dog, his next incarnation will be as a man.

10 steps to successful weight loss

I'm at the library now. Flippling thru some cookbook and i found this...
Ehem... I'm never successful in loosing weight. I tried for err like 1 day then quit :-)
but what ever la.. i think this article might interest you.

10 steps to successful weight loss
1. Always eat breakfast to wake up the body and brain, and boost your metabolism in the morning.

2. Eat at least five servings of different fruit and vegetables every day - they are great for your blood pressure, are packed with nutritional goodies and are filling as well.

3. Choose a lower-fat spread for your toast and spread it thinly

4. Avoid snacking out of pure habit. If you are truly are hungry go ahead and eat - but try some fruit instead of chocolate bar. If you are eating because you are bored, fed up or lonely do something else instead such as read a book, take a bath or go for a walk.

5. Limit your intake of calorie-containing drinks-the body does not easily recognize energy in liquid form, allowing extra calories to be taken in. Cut down on sugar in hot drinks - choose water or low-calorie soft drinks, or try fruit or herbal teas instead.

6. Avoid alcohol. It is full of calories and can actually stimulate your hunger, meaning that you eat more as well.

7. Cut down on fat whenever you can, especially saturated fat (animal fats and certain vegetable oils). Cut visible fat off meat, buy lower-fat dairy foods, avoid pastry and pies, grill rather than fry and choose low--fat salad dressings.

8. Avoid long periods of inactivity in front of the television or computer. Move about regularly and use television commercial breaks to walk up and down the stairs a few times to get the body moving again.

9. Shape up with a friend or partner for mutual support (and someone to be active with)

10. If you have a bad day, put it to one side as a single bad day - don't allow it to break your motivation. Go to bed, get up and start again.

Wah 1 week... i thot 2 days only

American idol winner

SO expected but i'm so upset with the results
David Cook (right picture) won.

i didn't watch the whole season only the last espisode (final) rerun yesterday but i'm now Archuleta fan

David Cook perfomed

"I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" - By U2
"Dream Big"- Written by Emily Shackleton (who the fish is Emily)
"The World I Know" - Collective soul

Yes he is talented and can sing and can rule the crowd. His own choice of song is bad but my first impression of David Cook is "OVERCONFIDENT" and arrogant.

I so very much want David Archuleta (left) to win.

David Archulata perfomed

Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" - by Elton John
"In This Moment" - Written by Ryan Gillmor
"Imagine" - by John Lennon

He perform flawlessly for all 3 songs. I love his rendition of Elton John "Don't let the sun goes down on me "

But it's OK Archuleta... you are still young. You got so much potential... and the last i heard, runner up did so much better than winner :-)
