Today is 14th of July which coincides with France National Day (Bastille Day) Yesterday, we joined our cousin to a pre Bastille Day dinner with their lovely family friends over at a nearby village Noisy-Rudignon. Although I may not understand a single words of french, they made us feel welcoming and we had a really lovely night. Dinner was long affair starting with hors d'oeuvre of Accra de Morue (taste like jemput2 with fish bits), Salmon cake and Gougeres (cheese cheese profiteroles , Followed by Entree of Grilled Chicken and Lamb and Tabouleh Salas. The lamb is so delicious by the way. So tender. Followed by Cheese Platter and then dessert of yummy Tiramisu and finally Coffee or Tea. After dinner we walked in the dark with torchlight with the rest of them to watch fireworks at a small clearing. There were a few other fireworks around the nearby village. For a small village the fireworks was long and pretty. Longer than our National Day fireworks. A truly great evening indeed. #lizaohlala #blog #lizaohlalavacation2016 #fireworks #bastilleday
